A new journey through 100 Years of Magic.
The Star Wars saga, iconic classics from recent decades, Marvel movies, princess tales, and even villains: all the worlds tied to the Disney franchise are celebrated in the new exhibition “Disney 100”, which has just opened. Originally presented in London from October 2023 to June, 2024, this exhibition which recounts the beginnings of the famous Walt Disney Company as well as the lives of its creators, is now located in the French capital. Following the company’s 100th anniversary on October 16, 2023, the Walt Disney Company wanted to celebrate the event by bringing together fans in France, outside of the parks located in Marne-la-Vallée. What to expect from the exhibition? It is mainly organized around some of the costumes worn by actors, reproductions of sketches, paintings of key scenes from animated films, and short documentary and archival videos. However, no meet-and-greet is planned with the famous mouse, who is still highlighted through various displays throughout the exhibition.
Tickets and schedule: everything you need to know !
The “Disney 100” exhibition opened at the Porte de Versailles in Paris from April 10 to October 5, 2025. Dated tickets, excluding discounts for persons with disabilities and free entry for children under the age of 4, range from 24.90€ to 28.90€ for adults, and 19.90€ to 22.90€ for children aged 4 to 11. “Open tickets”, which allow you to attend the exhibition without choosing a date beforehand, are priced at 39€. Family packs, available for a chosen day for two adults and two children, are also available at 69.90€ or 79.90€ depending on the selected day. Just like when you’re visiting the parks, it is best to plan for extra expenses, especially for what you will find inside the gift shop located at the exit. In this shop, you will find some of the merchandise regularly sold in Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park, as well as exclusive items only available there. Sweatshirts, mugs, and coloring and story books, decorations: everything is here to tempt you !
How are visitors reacting in real time?
We collected feedback from 10 visitors interviewed right after experiencing the exhibition. These 10 adults, from various age groups and professions, agreed to answer one simple question: “How would you rate the exhibition on a scale of 0 to 5, and why?” The ratings fluctuated from 2.6 out of 5 (very specific rating, I have to agree on that) to a perfect 5 out of 5, resulting in an average of 3.9/5.

The visitors both shared their pleasant surprises and disappointments, and it seems like the feedback have been consistent so far.
What could be improved.
The lack of interactive elements and activities for the younger audience was the main downside mentioned by 7 of the 10 interviewees. The exhibition doesn’t seem to be particularly fitting for young fans. Only a few activities such as a drawing workshop, a character color-matching game, and interactive tables with less-known facts are available, making it uncertain whether the exhibition truly holds the attention of younger visitors. Additionally, three participants mentioned that the ticket prices felt too high for the exhibition’s size. Although the exhibition is spread across several thematically-structured rooms, you might move quickly through all of them without really getting interested if you’re not someone who is into reading.
What the exhibition gets right.
There are positive aspects too, rest assured! Nearly all the participants highlighted the immersive atmosphere and decorations as major strengths. In every room, you are fully transported into the Disney universe. The paintings and sketches flow smoothly, and the display of items such as attraction sets and ride vehicles helps you forget that you are in a gallery. If you love behind-the-scenes facts and documentaries, this exhibition is also made for you. A large number of information panels go into detail on key moments and facts from the American entertainment giant’s history, making it perfect for fans and curious minds. There are also spaces dedicated to classic Disney music where you can listen to many iconic tracks, as well as spaces dedicated to Disney’s social and environmental commitments, including animal welfare.
A successful bet.
The “Disney 100” exhibition is full of great ideas and reflects the high quality we have come to expect from Disney productions, even if it’s not perfect. We can hope that the company, usually attentive to its audience, will take visitors’ feedback into account for future events and promotional and immersive experiences. It is however unlikely that any major change will be made to this exhibition now that it is already underway. While the franchise continues to inspire dreams for all generations, this particular event seems mostly turned toward adult fans, eager to revisit childhood memories and explore the lesser-known aspects of Walt’s imaginative empire.
What about you, would you be tempted by this immersive experience in the center of Paris?
